Symphony-meets-Rock in the ultimate Halloween Fusion this fall when Panama City Symphony hosts its annual Renaissance to Rock-n-Roll on Friday, October 30 at Capt. Anderson’s Event Center, 5550 N. Lagoon Drive, Panama City Beach. Continuing the Symphony’s 31st season’s theme of “Horizons: A Season of Discovery” featuring a season of new venues and fresh concert ideas, this fan-favorite show returns for its third year with a wicked twist, moving to October for a hauntingly immersive Halloween experience. Carrabba’s is hosting the delicious buffet this year, offering Chicken Piccata, Lasagna, Gluten-Free Positano, Carrabba’s signature Italian Salad, and Mini Cannoli & Chocolate Chunk Cookies. The event takes place from 6 to 9 p.m.
Eerie Elegance of the Past Meets the Electric Energy of the Present: Virtuoso musicians from Panama City Symphony will perform alongside local favorite, The Will Thompson Band, whose dazzling versatility in genres and styles spans Classic Rock to Motown and beyond. From dark, gothic classical masterpieces to iconic rock anthems, concertmaster Erika Sciascia, clarinetist John Divine, pianist Ani Mouradian, and bassist David Goldflies will fuse their sound with this high-octane energy. We are also delighted to re-summon sensational soloist Charles Sciascia. Following his breathtaking February Renaissance to Rock-n-Roll performance, Charles returns to center stage to lend his vocals and guide you through the evening as our Master of Ceremonies.
