Inaugural Sunset Sessions will bring free live music to the destination this fall

Visit Panama City Beach, in collaboration with Bay County Parks & Recreation, is introducing a new tradition this fall with the inaugural Sunset Sessions, a free concert bringing the community together for live music against the backdrop of one of the destination’s unforgettable sunsets. The first Sunset Sessions will take place Friday, Sept. 18, at M.B. Miller County Pier.

“We’re excited to partner with Visit Panama City Beach for Sunset Sessions and build on the momentum of our Concerts in the Park series,” said Clair Pease, Bay County Commission Chairman. “It’s the perfect way to cap off a great season of live music in our parks, bringing people together to enjoy great music, a beautiful Gulf sunset, and everything that makes Bay County such a special place.”

Beginning at 5:30 p.m., attendees are invited for an evening where live music complements one of Panama City Beach’s signature experiences: sunset over the Gulf. Families, friends and visitors are encouraged to bring chairs and coolers, relax and enjoy a laid-back evening.

The lineup features performances from Gulf Coast singer-songwriter Corey Hall, Northwest Florida favorite String Theory and Florida-based folk-pop-reggae duo Matt & Zack, whose high-energy headlining performance will close out the evening.
