Participants can explore local businesses for a chance to win a $50 gift card
Bayway, Bay County’s public transportation system, is inviting residents and visitors to explore the community in a new way this summer through the launch of its Bayway Discovery Guide. This passport-style booklet highlights local restaurants, family-friendly attractions, and outdoor recreation opportunities located along Bayway bus routes. Participants are encouraged to visit featured destinations throughout the summer and return their completed booklet for a chance to win a $50 Visa gift card.
“We are excited to share this new summer program that encourages people to get out and explore all that Bay County has to offer,” said Lamar Hobbs, Bayway’s Transit Program Administrator. “The Bayway Discovery Guide creates a fun and interactive experience while highlighting Bayway as a convenient way to travel throughout the community.”
Printed guides will be available on all Bayway buses beginning Monday, June 22. Community members are encouraged to use the guide throughout the summer to visit featured locations and check off destinations as they visit.
To participate, community members must:
- Retrieve a printed Discovery Guide on board a Bayway bus
- Visit and check off at least one location in each category included in the guide • Drop off their completed guides in the collection boxes on board all Bayway buses anytime before August 31. Gift card winners will be randomly selected and contacted using the phone numbers or email that participants include in the guide.
