Gulf Jazz Society Concert Feb. 21
The Gulf Jazz Society’s next event will be on Tuesday, February 21. Doors at Alice’s Restaurant on Bayview open at 5 p.m. and the entertainment starts at 6:30 p.m.
Our featured Jazz entertainer is Sharon Carroll who has been performing with jazz bands for two decades. And after performing in musical theatre throughout the southeast in regional and dinner theatres, she returned home to Panama City to start her family and began performing with “The Swing Set Big Band, and the “Swift Shift Jazz Band.” She has recorded two jazz CDs: “Tell Me This Day Won’t End,” with Amanda Matthews, for which she wrote the title track and also “Sharon Carroll & Company Live at Backstage Pass.”
