Moves to a .gov URL for Enhanced Customer Experience

The Tax Collector’s Office is excited to announce an upgraded website, featuring a modern design and the transition to a new .gov domain. This change comes with a series of benefits aimed at improving the overall user experience for citizens accessing services just in time for property tax season.

The move to a .gov URL is a significant step in enhancing security and trust. Websites with the .gov domain are exclusively reserved for government agencies, ensuring users can confidently access official information and services. This trusted domain signals a commitment to data privacy and security, assuring visitors that they are engaging with legitimate, authorized resources.

Along with the domain change, the updated website boasts a fresh, user-friendly design. Navigation has been streamlined to make it easier for individuals and businesses to find the services they need, such as paying taxes, renewing registrations, or finding information specific to their needs. The responsive design ensures the website functions smoothly across devices, from desktops to smartphones, offering convenience for users on the go.

With property tax season underway, the Tax Collector’s Office encourages customers to visit their new site at BayCountyFLTax.Gov to take advantage of the online services available for property tax payments and registration renewals.

Property tax payments received or postmarked by December 31 receive the 3% discount. This discount is shown on the property tax notice.
