“This spring, it’s all about mixing stripes, denim and florals for a playful, laid-back vibe,” said Brooklynn’s by Emma Store Manager Sara Pappas. “The denim gets a refresh with new washes, cuts and distressing, and the florals feature everything from delicate, dainty prints to bold blooms.” An easy way in is to tie a top or sweater around your waist or pair an edgy denim jacket with a feminine floral dress.
Sustainability
Spring fashions will feature upcycled and recycled fabrics like repurposed denim and recycled nylon. These eco-friendly materials allow designers like Kurt Geiger London and Eileen Fisher to create on-trend clothing and accessories for eco-conscious consumers. Those consumers can find these brands at Dillard’s.
Tiger’s Eye Nails
The tiger’s eye nail trend shows no signs of slowing down. The nail artists at Nails So Happy mimic the look of tiger’s eye gemstones, creating a multi-dimensional effect in numerous colors.
