Friends Watches Football On Tv In A Sport BarThe sports bar is a truly American invention, whose history is as cloudy as some of its late-night patrons. Dennis Harrah, former L.A. Rams lineman, claims to have invented America’s first Sports Bar in 1979. Legends opened in Long Beach, California and quickly filled up with memorabilia. These items were not just NFL related, but included everything from Mohammed Ali’s boxing gloves, to an actual Indy race car hanging from the ceiling. What really separated Legends back in the day was that they were the first bar to incorporate satellite technology to broadcast live sporting events. Another claim comes from Palermo’s, a St. Louis bar located across the street from Sportsman Park, former home of the Cardinals and Browns. Ironically, Palermo’s opened on the same day prohibition was repealed. Talk about timing. Due to Covid 19, 2020 will be remembered as the only time in history when a fan could go to a sports bar and watch the NBA, NFL, college football, tennis, the Triple Crown and Bowling for Dollars, all at the same time. Is America great or what? Please enjoy our choices and let the games begin.

The Caribbean has seen many visitors from different continents for centuries, many who have stayed and formed grand lineages. One of the greatest cultural impacts of this migration has been on the food. The Caribbean cuisine is a fusion of African, Amerindian, European, East Indian, Arab and Chinese in addition to the indigenous Caribbean population’s touch.
