Downtown is about to sparkle a little brighter! Residents and visitors alike are invited to join in the magic at this year’s Downtown Christmas Celebration on Friday, December 5, at Four Points Plaza. With twinkling lights, joyful music, and holiday cheer around every corner, downtown will transform into a winter wonderland for all ages to enjoy beginning at 5:30 p.m. with the tree lighting ceremony, followed by the Price Family Christmas Light Show. This year’s festivities also feature the eighth annual Holiday Bazaar presented by Bay Arts Alliance at the Center for the Arts, where local artists and makers will showcase handcrafted goods perfect for gifting—or keeping! Let the season of warmth, creativity, and community begin!
Bay Arts Alliance will host its eighth annual Holiday Bazaar over two days: December 5 from 5-8 p.m. and December 6 from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Shoppers can browse the galleries of the Center for the Arts with table after table of unique, handcrafted goods from dozens of local artists and artisans.
“Our community deserves moments of wonder,” said Jayson Kretzer, Executive Director of Bay Arts Alliance. “This Christmas display helps create that spark. David Price’s craftsmanship and care give our city a touch of holiday magic that everyone can enjoy.”
The Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony will take place at 5:30 p.m. on Friday evening, featuring performances by the Bay High School Choir, and the Price Family Christmas Light Show returns to the lawn at the Center for the Arts. This event would not be possible without the support of Destination Panama City and the City of Panama City.
The Center for the Arts will have on display two exhibitions: #ArtCityPC: Local Artist Expo featuring over 150 pieces by local and regional artists, and woodwork art by Samantha Hermann. Visitors can enjoy these exhibits from December 5 – 21, 2025.
The Center for the Arts is open Tuesday–Saturday, 10 a.m.–5 p.m., Fridays 10 a.m.-7 p.m. The Center for the Arts will be closed for the holidays from December 23 through January 1, and will reopen on January 2, 2026.
