Ladies of Latitude provided Christmas in July for Bay County First Responders. Ladies of Latitude baked over 60 dozen homemade goodies and delivered them to six different locations including Bay County Sheriff’s Office and Panama City Beach Police Headquarters. The Margaritaville community graciously offered to serve our responders, with 32 ladies baking dozens of cookies and cupcakes and an additional 15 ladies delivering the goodies with a holiday flare.
Ladies of Latitude, lovingly known as LOL, is a social organization for residents and future residents of Latitude Margaritaville Watersound. Ladies of Latitude was created with the purpose of forming and strengthening friendships within the Latitude Community.
Ladies of Latitude was formed on March 12, 2022, with 47 ladies meeting for lunch. The organization has quickly grown to close to 800 members. If you currently own, live, or are a future resident of Latitude Margaritaville Watersound, you are invited to join the fun. The Ladies of Latitude host ten events a year, all off property to support our local businesses.
Although Ladies of Latitude is a social organization, that doesn’t stop them from giving back to the community. LOL has partnered with Habitat of Humanity, Bay County and North Florida Breast Cancer Foundation for fundraisers in the past and have raised thousands of dollars. During October, Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the ladies will be raising funds for a local organization, Fore Her. Fore Her was founded to raise funds for breast cancer patients in financial need in Northwest Florida. Donation items are currently requested from local businesses to help with their goal of $10,000.
