For Napoleon “Nap” deCiutiis and his wife Denise, Panama City Beach is more than a place they live. It’s home.
Both long-time residents of Panama City Beach, they have always valued the community, lifestyle, and people that make this area special. The DeCutiis family spends time on the water, walking the beach, and enjoying creating quality memories with their five children. Upon retiring after a 24-year career as a U.S. Navy Explosive Ordnance Disposal Master Chief (EODCM), Nap chose Panama City Beach as the place to continue serving, this time by building a company focused on innovation, technology, and creating opportunities within the community.
That company is Mythic Group, Inc.
Mythic Group was founded by a team of five partners who share a vision of bringing advanced manufacturing capabilities to Panama City Beach and the Gulf Coast region. Each partner brings a unique background and expertise, combining decades of experience in leadership, engineering, manufacturing, technology development, business operations, and strategic growth.
Mythic is a Panama City Beach-based advanced material science and manufacturing company specializing in large-format additive manufacturing (LFAM), composite materials, and mobilized manufacturing solutions. The company is focused on changing the way large-scale products are designed, engineered, and manufactured by combining advanced materials with next-generation 3D printing technology.
The company’s work includes applications in marine systems, unmanned platforms, infrastructure, and other areas where stronger, lighter, and more adaptable products are needed. Mythic’s goal is to help bring advanced manufacturing closer to where it is needed while reducing traditional production timelines.
Behind the scenes, Denise has been an important part of the journey. While Nap locally manages growth, partnerships, and technology development, Denise has supported the countless hours and decisions that come with building a company from the ground up. Together, they have built a family that values service, hard work, faith in the process, and being involved in the community they call home.
That commitment to community extends beyond the company itself. Mythic welcomes students from Bay County schools, Florida State University, and Gulf Coast State College to tour the facility, learn about advanced manufacturing, and see how engineering, robotics, and material science come together in a real-world environment.
For Nap, service has always been a way of life. His military career was built around leading teams, solving difficult problems, and finding solutions in challenging environments. Those same values guide Mythic today: integrity, innovation, education, and doing things the right way.
