Take a look “Behind the Star” with the Bay County Sheriff’s Office! “Behind the Star” is the new BCSO podcast now available on YouTube and Facebook. The podcast will feature dash and body cam footage, video from the Air Unit, and a step-by-step breakdown by the Episode guest.
Episode one features a conversation between Public Information Officer Ruth Corley, Deputy Jake Navarro, and Sheriff Tommy Ford. Sheriff Ford recounts the many challenges he has faced since becoming Sheriff in 2016 including an active shooter, a category 5 hurricane, spring break, and a pandemic during his first term alone. But from each challenge came positive changes in policing for Bay County.
