The Friends of Camp Helen are excited to announce the pumpkin patch is now open! Pumpkins will be sold 7 days a week, from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. through October 31 or until sold out.
This year, Saturdays in the Patch will feature live music, Bay County Storytellers, PCB Mosquito, cake walks inside the historic Lodge, and more! Food will be available for purchase in the park on Saturdays as well.
Saturday, October 22 is a special evening with a movie after dark (Hocus Pocus) FREE to the public. The pumpkin patch will close at 5 p.m. and we will reopen the parking lot at 5:45 for the showing of “Hocus Pocus”. The movie begins after sunset (around 6:30). Bring your own blankets and chairs.

Then, Saturday, October 29, we will host the FIRST EVER Witch’s Paddle on Lake Powell. This is also a free event.
We will leave from Camp Helen’s kayak launch at 5:30 p.m. and paddle to the beach for a picnic. Then we will head back at dusk.

In addition to our Fall events, the FOCH launched their first Park Pups Calendar campaign and contest. To enter your dog, or pre order a calendar, visit: Friends of Camp Helen | The Friends of Camp Helen 2023 Park Pups Calendar Contest (gogophotocontest.com)
While the Fall events are fun, the kayak/SUP rentals offer a unique way to explore Lake Powell, the largest coastal Dune Lake in the Northern Hemisphere. Group packages and rates are now available, including a picnic prepared by the FOCH and facility rental.
