Project 3 Becky And Girl (3) CopyProject 25 is the annual toy drive conducted by the Bay County Sheriff’s Office. The names of needy kids and their siblings are submitted by Bay District Schools. Toys are collected and monetary donations are received from the generous people of Bay County. On December 6, the donated cash was spent by volunteers at the Lynn Haven Walmart on toys for children in need. The purchased toys and donated toys are bagged up for the kids and distributed. Project 25 is in its 44th year.

Donations are received right up to Christmas Eve, as there are always families hit with unexpected expenses, illnesses, or house fires that desperately need toys at the last minute. Toys and cash donations can be dropped off at the main office of the BCSO at 3421 N. Hwy 77 in Panama City. Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Project 25, coordinated by Ms. Becky Johns under the direction of Sheriff Tommy Ford, will be ready to respond to the needs of families all the way up to Christmas Eve.
