Thanksgiving may be the time for turkey, but in Panama City Beach it’s when Santa Claus comes to town. Returning for its 10th year, Beach Home for the Holidays invites families to kick off the festive season Nov. 28–29 at Aaron Bessant Park. The lively celebration features an enhanced Kids Zone, carol-themed concerts, s’mores, visits with Santa, fireworks, the lighting of the destination’s 36-foot Christmas tree and more. Adding to the lineup of entertainment with performances by the Panama City Symphony and the Panama City Ballet, country singer RaeLynn will perform after the tree lighting, kicking off the holiday season with an unforgettable live set.

The festivities will kick off Friday, Nov. 28, at 3 p.m. with campfires, s’mores and the opening of Santa’s Village, accompanied by a holiday movie. At 5:15 p.m., guests can enjoy a performance of The Nutcracker by the Panama City Ballet, setting the tone for an evening of festive fun. The lighting of the 36-foot Christmas tree will take place at 5:55 p.m., followed by a live performance by headlining act RaeLynn, who will take the stage at Aaron Bessant Park’s open-air amphitheater at 6 p.m. A former The Voice contestant and two-time Academy of Country Music New Female Vocalist nominee, RaeLynn will bring her signature Southern flair and vibrant storytelling to what’s sure to be a must-see concert.

The celebrations continue Saturday, Nov. 29, with more campfires, s’mores, Santa’s Village, a holiday movie and a festive performance by the Panama City Symphony, accompanied by the Panama City Ballet. Attendees can also get a head start on their Christmas shopping with a wide variety of local vendors. Families can spread a little holiday cheer with Heartland Rescue Ranch, a local nonprofit dedicated to rescuing and rehoming animals—five at last year’s event alone—for more than 10 years.
