We all must navigate through the doubts that arise in our spiritual journey, but we can
seek the strength that comes from God’s faithfulness. His constancy serves as a balm for our weary hearts. Our emotions are a roller coaster, yet God remains the same. His love is unwavering and His desire to help and guide is amazingly consistent. He is a steadfast support who will bolster our faith when we encounter doubt. He will never abandon us, though many forsake Him. So we ask, “Why does He show such resolve and care in dealing with man?”
“Because of the Lord’s great love, we are not consumed, for His compassions never fail.
They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.” (Lamentations 3:22-23)
God has a plan for your life. Find hope in what Jeremiah wrote: “For I know the plans I
Have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” (Jeremiah 29:11)
These verses of scripture give us clarity despite our occasional doubts. We can find hope and even resolution for our problems. Let us lean upon the Lord, drawing strength from His promises.
