Museum Views II

Opening Reception:  October 17, 5 – 7 p.m. Amelia Center Gallery, AC 112

An exhibition featuring recent paintings by Richard Heipp. Professor Heipp creates hyper-realistic airbrushed paintings based on photographs taken in museums. The paintings explore how we perceive and value art through mediated systems of seeing. The process involves a transformation—from photographic capture to painted image—that questions ideas of craft, illusion, originality, and cultural meaning. Open October 17-November 7, 2025.
