Community outreach is an integral part of any successful organization. Did you know that the Panama City Beach Chamber of Commerce’s Ambassador Committee is dedicated to this very concept? This committee is composed of a group of volunteers that support business development and networking on behalf of the Panama City Beach Chamber of Commerce. The ambassadors attend ribbon cuttings, ground breakings, grand openings, meetings, and much more. They also deliver welcome packets and membership plaques to all new Panama City Beach Chamber members and contribute to the recruitment process. Ambassadors have countless opportunities for business-to-business networking with both new and existing Panama City Beach Chamber members.
What does it take to become an ambassador? Check out this step-by-step guide. First, you need to be a member of the Panama City Beach Chamber. Not a member? Email shannon@pcbeach.org and Shannon Richmond will be happy to help you. The next step is expressing your interest in becoming an ambassador by emailing anna@pcbeach.org. Anna Cooper will reply with all the details on how to join, upcoming events, and more. After that, the Ambassador Leadership Team will welcome you to attend their monthly meeting where you will get to network with your future peers and experience the committee firsthand.
Finally, you will attend ambassador orientation where the leadership will officially onboard you and welcome you into the Ambassador Committee. The best parts are that becoming a Panama City Beach Chamber Ambassador is completely FREE and your business development potential is PRICELESS!
